MarketRooms uses local browser storage rather than advertising cookies. Necessary storage works without consent; optional analytics storage is created only after you accept analytics.

Extension storage
The extension stores functional settings such as endpoint, interface state, install metadata and authentication state. Its analytics setting defaults to off. An anonymous analytics identifier and pending event markers are used only after you enable analytics in extension settings.
Optional analytics provider
When configured and consented, MarketRooms may send minimised product events to PostHog through the first-party API. The event payload excludes message contents, email, portfolio information, complete browsing history, bearer tokens, raw symbols and raw room IDs.
Change or withdraw consent
Choose “Privacy settings” in the footer at any time. Rejecting stops future optional analytics collection. You can also remove existing local identifiers through your browser’s site-data controls or the extension’s settings/removal controls. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already occurred lawfully.
Future advertising
The service launches without advertising. Before introducing advertising technology that changes how personal data or browser storage is used, we will update this policy and obtain any required consent. Analytics consent does not authorise advertising tracking.
Browser controls
You can block or clear site storage in your browser. Blocking necessary storage may prevent sign-in, security controls or preferences from working. MarketRooms does not use advertising or cross-site profiling cookies.
